Horse riders must have great core strength to maintain posture while applying the correct aids at all the different paces of the horse. Appearing still on a moving animal requires great control of your deep core muscles. Horseback riding requires fitness, but mostly muscular fitness not aerobic fitness. Riding instructors are not able to teach riders how to use their body and muscles to improve their riding. All
